Ouran Host Story Gaia 10

Rosie saw Michelle sulking, and not too far away, the twins were walking with their backs to them. Both girls were bored, so they whispered to eachother and grinned other. Rosie gave an evil grin and set her gerbil (where did that come from? Nekozawa no doubt) on the ground. In no time, it ran up Kaoru's pant leg, then Michelle did the same to Hikaru. The twins danced around trying to get the gerbils out of their pants. Hikaru got it out first and it ran to its gerbil ball before he could step on it. He pounded his feet and looked at the two now giggling girls madly.

As Mori patted her gently on her sholders she gruffly said thank you in japanese. They walked up to his rather large home down the dive. When they made it to the household two maids had opened the doors as he made it up the short stairs to the front enterence. They were all speaking in japanese and as people started to crowed around the new girl that Takashi brought into his home without as much as a notice. Carina got very nervous and looked like a frightened puppy.
One of the maids placed her hand on Carina's shoulder. Carina jumped and ran as fast as she could away from them. She ended up under the stairs in the corner shaking and hidding her face.  Mori walked over and put a gentle hand on her head.Carina looked up at Mori and then jumped up and hugged him. Mori blushed. Then she pushed away just as fast and held her head down and her hands crossed.Mori, not being a man of many words merely motioned the maids and other household workers to shoo. Head maid got the idea that it was now time to leave, Stood straight up holding her hands at her waist, bowed, and gave orders to the others that it was now time to work again.
Mori moved his hand from her head to her sholders and gently pushed her as he led her down the hall into a room that would be hers.
She looked up into his eyes and then just as quickly looked down at the floor. She was a very timid girl to begin with and not being able to speak a lot of Japanese made her even more timid.  After walking down a large hall with paintings and sculptors, Mori finally came to a stop. The Door was white with simple carvings along the edges, and the door knob was of elaborate brass. She looked up at her childhood friend as he nodded awknowleging her and said, "Your Room," in German as he opened the door with one hand. The room was fairly large for such a timid girl, she thought she didn't know what she would do with herself. There was a large 4 sided window with a built in bench that one could sit on if they wished, the bed was large but not something that would leave a girl swimming, and the dresser made of fine oak with a beautiful mirror with fine blossoms carved into it. Carina, the daughter of a maid, found herself in a place she never though she would be.  She crouched a little lower and took Mori's hand. She looked up into his eyes as they told how frightend she was. "Stay with me?" She asked in Japanese with the very sweet and small voice. Mori looked down at her and smiled gently and shoke his head. He started to walk off to his own room but she started to fallow him. Mori knew this was going to be a long day. He turned around and held Carina by the shoulders. "Your room, is there."He turned on one foot and walked away. And as sure as day, he heard smaller feet behind him. He stoped abruptly and turned to face her. Carina still looking at the floor as she followed stumbled over his feet, bumped into his chest, and fell crashing to the floor with a plump "Owww...."
Mori reached out a helping hand and she reached out as he pulled her back to her feet. "Gomenosi Mori-Sempi"
"Ah" Mori, still holding her hand walked the couple of feet back to her room and as he reverted into host mode and looked at her with sparkling eyes as he gestured for her to sit on the bed.
Eyes wide at such a look she was receiving Carina could only oblige.
Mori then walked to the far end of the room opened the double doors leading into a grand bathroom, walked around the tub that was located dead center of the room, opened another set of double doors and stood inside the room. "My Room. You're Safe. Sleep well, tomarrow, I will retreive you for breakfast." And Mori closed the doors.
Carina ran to the doors and started to bang on them. She didn't like being alone at all. She had to many nightmares of lonelyness. She started crying out "MORI, MORI"
"Mori! MORI!!???" Carina began to sob as she turned around back to the door and slid down. "Takashi.... Morinuzuka." Carina hated being alone, she's had nightmares ever since the death of her mother. Carina curled her knees up to her chest in attempt to comfort herself when the doors opened and she fell backwards.
There he was. Mori, he was obviously changing for bed because he had removed his school jacket, tie, and shirt, the only thing that remained on were shoes, pants and his white beater undershirt. He looked down at her as she gazed upward twards him. "AH..." he said. He walked around her grabbed one of her arms and sat her up, then swooped her in his arms. One arm around her solders another at her legs, he lifted her up with ease she felt kinda like a bag of potatos.
He walked her though the bathroom and back to place her on her bed. She unwillingly stayed on the bed as he began to walk away again she bolted upright, eyes wide like a child afraid of the dark. She watched him walk around the bed to the foot of the other side, Carina relaxed a bit. Mori sat down in the chair across from the bed and beside the window. He took his shoes off and proped his feet up on the edge of the bed. "Sleep." He said, "I'll Stay."
She smiled with a very large toothy grin and started to get under the covers. She stopped and got up and came over to Mori. Mori looked at her as thought to tell her to go back to bed but she only bent down and kissed him on the cheek. then she wandered back to bed and pulled the covers over her face smiling. Mori was a little shocked and then smiled and leaned back. He felt comfurtable to be himself around her instead of being just a host.
Alas the rays of the days new dawn arose the next morning, and Carina woke to find the room bright, birds chirping outdoors, and then sluggish Mori leaned back on the hind legs of his chair, one arm draped over his eyes and the other limp to the floor. She sat up with a smile thinking of a good way to start the day.  
She took one of her blankets and drapped it over the sleeping Mori and then got out to change into some new clothes. As she changed, Mori woke up in a sleepy daze. He took one dazed look at her and then jumped up and ran to the door! She stood there shocked that he had woke up right then and saw her without a shirt on. A chill went up her spin but she didn't scream. She just finished changing.
Carina finished pulling over her loose white tanktop and began to head for the door. She paused, "Which way did he say we came?" She thought to herself. Finally a familiar sight, another maid came walking down the hall pushing a cart of towels and other things that she would need. She walked over and as she got close the maid stopped. Carina paused again, trying to scrounge up the words she would need in order for the women to understand her. "Wich.. Live. Room?" The women tilted her head and looked at her. After a moment Carina just asked "Takashi?" The maids eyes widened and she gave a sly smile and pointed to the right then another left.
"Ahhh..." she said as she turned around and jogged down the hall. "ARIGATO!" Carina said while waving a goodbye.
Unluckly, the maid had no idea what she was trying to say and had pointed her to Mori's changing room. As she walked though the door, she saw Mori pulling up his jeans. They stared at each other and then she ran out of the room.
The maid started walking trying to finish up the last of her chores when a couple of doors down one bursts open. Carina came running out one arm covering her eyes and accidentally ran into the maid's cart bairly missing the women but causing the cart full of towels, toilet paper, and other toiletries to scatter the hall. Carina tripped over something and as she tried to scamble to get up she turned around to apologize and there was Mori pulling another white beater on and jogging to help her and the maid. By the time he got to the cart Carina had found her feet and ran away blushing and ashamed. "GOMINASI!"
